  1. emphasis on first author

    Since most of the work is done by the first author(s) there should be a higher weigth be set in the counting for the respective institute, eg. first author's institute receives 50% credit, the rest is distributed like in the FC. In this way also the problem with the last author would be accounted for, since in most cases the first and last author have the same affiliation

  3. Dis-aggregate the IISERs in your Institution outputs ranking for India

    Inidan Institute of Science Education and Research is not one institution but (at the moment ) 7 : soon to rise to 9. To quote Wikipedia

    "Seven IISERs have been established across the country, namely IISER Kolkata in West Bengal, IISER Pune in Maharashtra, IISER Mohali in Punjab, IISER Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, IISER Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, IISER Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh and IISER Berhampur in Odisha.[4] [5] Two new IISERs, at Berhampur, Odisha and Nagaland were announced in the 2015 Budget.[6][7] "

  4. Allow users to see the articles making up top collaborations

    On the collaboration page for each institution, it would be nice to be able to click on each "top collaborator" and see the list of articles the institutions collaborated on. This helps to answer questions when management sees an expected collaborator listed in one of the top 10 lists.
